Vejmelka was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Kings.
A tall goaltender from Czechia, he has a nice combination of size and mobility. Was a two-time champion in the Czech Extraliga before opting to come to North America six years after originally being taken in the NHL draft, but will need some time to adapt to smaller rinks in North America. Is a rare right-catching netminder, which makes him a bit more difficult for shooters to read.
